History The most famous amphiptere is Quetzalcoatl, the winged and feathered
god from Mexico history. The amphiptere is also said to have wattles encircling it's eyes and two tongues: one normal,
and one like an arrow. This type of Amphiptere appears in folklore from England to the Middle East.
