Drake

Physiology

The drake is very much like a Western-type dragon without wings. Their are two types of Drakes: Firedrake - breathes fire and usually reddish in color, and a Colddrake - breathes ice and usually white or light bluish in color. These type of dragons do not fly. They range in size from 4' to 40' long.

History

The history of the Drake links to that of the Western Dragon, it therefore has no solid history of it's own. Sometimes it is accused of being a young Western Dragon because of it's lack in having wings until full maturity. There are many people who say that drakes are simply imposters, saying that they try to impersonate the Western dragon when it is not around. The Drake does, however, have many cities named after it; some of these being Drakesford and Drakehill.
