Physiology

The Gryphon has the upper body of an eagle (noblest of all air creatures) and the lower body of a lion (noblest of all land creatures).

History

There is no known place of origin though much evidnce leads to France or England. This is the noblest of all fantastic/mythical creatures. It is the emblem of knowledge and valor and is the guardian of the kings. The Gryphon is still well known around the world for it's protection and majesty. Also spelled Griffin.
