Physiology of a Dragon

There are many types of dragons with many different body types. You can read more about this in my Dragon types page. This page is just a reference, explaining what the anatomy of an average Western dragon is like. It is hard to explain what the anatomy of all dragonkind in such a summarized version. This is because dragons are like humans, their body shape, color, and size will vary depending on what part of the world they come from and what kind of climate they are used to. Look at it this way; a dragon from Europe will de different than a dragon from America. It is true that they are both of the Western type, but they come from opposite sides of the world. Select the links on the side to learn more about the anatomy of a dragon.
