The Skeleton

The Western dragon (Eudraco Magnificus Occidentalis) has a sturdy skeletal structure. This is seen when looking at its large head, long neck, broad shoulders, thick legs, strong til, and its masive wings. The bones of a dragon are very strong but they are hollow and light. While its jaw is large to accomodate the overly big muscles surrounding it. A Dragon is able to dislocate its jaw, like some snakes, to grab large objects. The mouth a these beasts are filed with three types of teeth; incisors, canines, and molars. By knowing this, you also know that they are omniovres. The canine and incisors of a Dragon are very long and razor sharp, but they alos have molars to shew their food so they do not have to swallow it whole. The shoulder bones of a Dragon are thick and incredibly strong so they can handle its gigantic wings. The wing "finger" bones are long so they can wrap the flight membrane taught around them.

Oriental or Eastern Dragons (Dracoserpens Lung Orientalis), have an extremely long, thin skeletal structure. Unlike the Western Dragon, they have a medium sized head, vrey long neck, short legs, small hips, and a long tail. They are very maneuverable because of their shape (a lot like a snake). The Eastern Dragon cna twist and turn their bodies into a cornicopia of shapes. They do not have hollow bones like the Western Dragon. The skeleton of these magical creatures are very thin and light, this is because they do not need mass to accomodate for flight muscles, this is beacuse they do not have wings. It is widely believed that these magnificant animals fly with "earth-magic" compared to brute strength.
